How do I remove my back rest from back seats?

You mean the part that folds down over the rear seat cushions? I think there're two nuts/bolts on each side of the seat. I swapped mine out a few years ago but I forget the specifics-nothing to it, really...

4 bolts that hold it in, and you'll need a torx bit to remove the seat belts.
