Default LM7 ID help

Just received my engine for a swap into a '72 Chev. 4WD (there's sure a lot of wires & stuff). How can I identify the year and displacement? It was advertised as a 2001 5.3L LM7 and I don't doubt it, but I'd like to know it's not a 4.8L. The block casting no. is 12567393 and the list shows it as either a 4.8 or 5.3. How can I tell? I don't know where the ser. no. is and probably couldn't see it anyhow with all the aforementioned wires, etc. Thanks for the help!

Pull a spark plug and check the piston. Dished pistons are 5.3.
