Default Just bought new 2000 SS, have some ?s..

Hey, I just bought a 00 SS and it came with Mac true fit headers, LM exhaust and no cats. The SES light is on and its really bothering me, what can I do to fix this? Would I have to buy 2 cats and put them back on?

You can get the simms from just about any of the shops to the right here or Summit Racing even carries them.

Also look into getting a professional tune done as well. I've read recently in "Super Chevy" mag., that if you use O2 sims you do nothing but send your car's computer into a continuous hunt for proper fuel delivery. Thus robbing you of any horsepower.
So they recommend deleting the O2's from the pcm all together.

I would agree that deleting the rear O2s completely is the best option...that's what I had done.
