Default tps sensor special case

Okay I've been through two tps sensors in the past month ift seems to be sending false signals to the ecm causing a high idle condition but if I tap on the sensor it drops to zero and idles fine the last sensor only did it when it was hot this one does it when it wants. I thought about putting some grease in there maybe something is getting stuck but it did it at idle once just started to raise up to 1000-1200 idle until I hit it with a screw driver then it went down

Are you sure it's the tps and not the throttle body?

watch TPS voltage with a multimeter when you are doing this and see if its changes.

i would imagine your IAC might be hanging up and when you tap the TPS which is across from the IAC it might be allowing it to move more.
