Default What Will It Take To Reinstall AC in a 2002 Z28

I'm thinking about getting back into another camaro. Its a 2002 Camaro Z28 M6. The only issue I have is that the owner did an AC delete on it. What all would it take to get AC back into the vehicle? What parts and how much labor would be involved?

Is the evaporater still there? If so just need the compressor, condenser, receiver drier And lines. Then take it somewhere to have it charged.

If the evaporater box is missing, your going to have to install one. Which may or may not require removing the entire dash.

Don't have the car yet but from my understanding it was just a basic AC delete by deleting the compressor. The evaporator is still there I believe. But like I said i'm not 100% sure.

typically the evaporator is left in place during an ac delete due to the difficulty in removing it. however, it is relatively simple to remove everything else.

here are the replacement parts you will probably need:
-all a/c lines that have been removed
-accumulator
-orifice tube
-gasket/o-ring kit
-condensor
-compressor
-mounting hardware for lines, condensor, compressor, accumulator

I would make sure to flush out the evaporator at least 3 times, especially if the openings were left unplugged.
