!air Ok, if i remove the AIR system it will throw codes. now is this true or rumor that the car will run in "limp mode" if codes are thrown?

mine throws codes, but it does not affect preformance or driveability (no "limp" mode). the codes show up about once a month, but i just clear them with efilive
