Car barely starts

Car barely starts Last night I got in my car and started it up and it barely started. So I left it running for about 30 minutes to let it charge up and then turned it off. When I went to school this morning it barely started again. 
So I looked at the alternator gauge and it was working so is my battery just not taking charge or something? Or is it something else?
