what is the best mods for my trans am ram air 98 A4 my mods now comp cams 521-529 ,rockers arms 1.8 ,mac header with Y-pipe, 3.4 Gear Ratio,free mods, Borla exua...., Air Box, heads stage II, ASP pullies, SLP ram air,Comp cams spring,LS6 intake,Granttilie Air Mass & Hyp.. programer ..so what can i add with this stuff to make more power ?

You'll get lots of opinions on that question. I went with a 3800 stall/2.7 STR from midwest, and it's like a new car. Definitely a mod I should have done first. Converter, cooler, and transgo all in one time is the way to go. I also installed aftermarket billet servos at the same time. And by the way, the transgo isn't THAT hard to do by yourself - don't let the instructions intimidate ya!

Midwest's the most reasonably priced, Yank's probably the best, Vigilante's good also. Tbyrne or Yank's websites have a bunch of useful info for selecting the right one for your setup.

I personally would go with a higher STR, but that's just me. Mainly cuz I drive mine on a pretty regular basis. 3500 is about as low as I would personally go too. Just my opinion.

That's not really an option man. You NEED to get a scan tool. I'll bet that you have some KR with your setup. You'll need a setup like LS1 edit to tune and get rid of the KR. Seems like most 98's have KR when they shouldn't. I know that mine did.

I would get a converter. Put the stock maf back on. My 98 has no KR even with the HPP3 tuning. 98's are less likely to go lean. They run richer from the factory than other years in most cases.IMO Aftermarket Maf's are a total wast of money...

Definitely a converter for the mod, but I agree that you need to make sure you aren't getting any knock retard too. Junk the GMAF and HPP3 and get a custom tune along with your converter. I personally like Yank Converters, but my car came with a Vigilante 3200 in it so that's going to stay in there for at least a little while. I'm looking at replacing it with the YPT4200 or SS4000. Give them a call with your car specs, weight, dyno results, and what you want out of your car and I'm sure they can help you pick the right converter.

dont forget drag radials for street use and for real fun ET slicks on the track.
you put a 3500 stall in with street tires and you're gonna pickup alot of laying drag tickets (with traction control on) lol.
