LS1 Electronics + Cam help?
Some people use the MAF or mass air flow, some use IAT or inlet air temperature, and some ask whether some are using one or the other for their build.
It seems there are different ways in going about a build that does not include a MAF? What combinations exist? Which are better for one build or another?
Cam help - 403 stroker, LS3 intake, 60#, L92 heads self polished, 1-7/8" LT's, T-56, 8.8" eaton posi.

What is the purpose of installing a cam advanced a certain amount of degrees but cut on a tighter LSA versus buying a cam already ground on a wide LSA?

I think you are confusing IAT for a MAP based speed density tune. IAT sensor does not and cannot take the place of an MAF.
