FTP and SLP both get my vote so see which one fits your budget and go with it. Fit and finish on both companies lids are nice as well.

Just pick one, if your going speed density with a FAST get a FTP, if your using the stock MAF sensor get the SLP, my SLP fit 10 times better than my FTP.

Just starting off, you can't beat a SLP. Best bang for the buck from a lid, and awesome fitment.

SLP is good lid... Best value... They seem to rub on the hood of the camaros tho. I've read a couple reviews talkn about sum ppl couldn't even CLOSE ther hood with the FTP lid... MTI is cool lid. All clear... Read reviews that they are Brittle tho... SLP $90, MTI $130, FTP$170... I would still go SLP... most do

I run the K&N FIPK on my SS because the lids rub on the hood. If I had T/A or WS6 I would run LID and FTRA... Nice setup...

^^^ I totally agree that "a lid is a lid"..... "a car is a car" but a Honda isn't the same as a Chevy

Hey OP!!! you have a 2001 Z right? So u already have a LS6 intake if it hasn't been changed from previous owner... Wanted to put that out ther in case u didn't know...

All lids are the same performance wise dont let anyone fool you. the MARGINAL increase in airflow from a 102mm lid or whatever you will never feel, see or hear. dont waste your money. get a slp lid, you will need to heat the cone up with a hair dryer or hot water and then it will slide over the TB much easier, plus then i will shrink down and seal. also get a true ram air kit, i went with SSRA (super sucker ram air) can be found on this site and it works nicely. people will tell you it blocks your radiator and all this other bs about your car will run hotter. again no it will not. ran a SSRA for 2 years in hot flordia heat and never ran any hotter than usual temp. in fact ran colder some days while cruising.

FTP, their lids with the "power bulge" have shown gains over a stock lid.

I have the slp lid on my car. I put it on back in 2002 no issue at all. I vote slp.
