Default Opinions??

I have a 2000 Z28 had the ls6 intake. I did a motor swap with a 2002 motor so my ls6 intake is basically just a stock intake on it. Have a 232/242 cam 110 +4. Haven't got a tune or anything yet, or haven't ran it at the track since swap. So don't really know what it does power wise, other than on the street. Could the ls6 intake be robbing me of power? Would a fast be better? Stock 241 heads.
I realize without a tune or track times there's really no way to tell if it's not performing well, just really looking to get opinions.

FAST intake is a waste of money unless you do a full out street build. your ls6 is doing just fine, but for some easy gains get those stock heads ported.

For a head/cam LS1 build the FAST will always be worth a few. For most people it comes down to cost vs. gains. I would look into porting your heads or getting some new ones for you next step.

I would say a tune is the first thing you should do.

A tune would be the first thing I would do to get the most out of what you have. Also, the LS6 isn't hurting you too much, but if you can afford it, a FAST would definitely help you pick up some power, even on the stock 241's although I would get those ported.

Im willing to bet the LS6 is holding you back by at least 15/15 with that size cam
