15w-50 synthetic oil?? Is 15w-50 Mobile too thick for the LS1?? I have 100,000 miles on mine and it uses about a quart between oil changes. Is there any reason not to use 15w-50 mobile at this point??

I'm not sure. I will say this if you have over 100,000 mikes and only using a qt between oil changes then hey I'd say your ok with what you've been using. That's about what I use and I have 49K on mine. heck mine has used about 1 qt since it was brand new between changes.
