01' Z28 Chevy Camaro
Okay so I bought my camaro about a month ago.The car has headers and from what I've been told ls3 stage 3 injectors. I'm working on getting my ram air put in and my cat back put on but I was wondering if a Fastchip would be better then the current stock chip i have. I have a buddy who can get me it cheap and put it in and I was just wondering if it would be a better decision then putting a dyne tune in. Opinions please??? I'm so lost.

As you live in Chicago, you have several great local options for tuning. I'd recommend FLP or Speed Inc.

This is the best chip.
But seriously, get the dyno tune like the other guys said.
And do you know what headers are? You've had the car for a month and you said "The car has headers and from what I've been told." You sure it has headers? You should know what headers are and not have to rely on what the seller told you.
Stick around here, do lots of reading and absorb as much knowledge as you can.

If you're gonna dyno tune the car, make sure you have everything you want done to it done before you tune it so you don't have to keep going back and getting it tuned every time you do something to the car. It'll save you money. That is unless you're the one doing the tuning with your software.

^^ Im with this guy, i added lid, Tb, headers, much larger exhaust, plugs, wires etc.. I thought, wow, with a tune ill be ALOT faster. I was very dissapointed in the almost 500 bucks i spent. Do something major to the car before you go fork out the cash for a tune. Unless it isnt running right

Yah I know the guy kept the stock exhaust on it. Its not a bad exhaust but it's time to make it louder, not to mention the whole exhaust system is pretty much rusted through lol
