Default How hard is this going to be....

I need to pull my current LS1 to put in my 408. The cars torn aprt in my garage with no lift but i do have a cherry picker. What all needs to be done to get this beast out? Unbolt the motor mounts and unbolt it from the tranny? Its essentially a bare block juat sitting in the car right now. No heads, intake, radiator, etc

Ya I would support the trans and split it from the moter. Then pull the SB out with the picker. You have already done all the hard work lol.

I would leave the cross member in and attached to the trans, If you have a spare floor jack or scissor jack place that under the bell housing. Since you have a M6 trans the clutch and fly wheel will come out with the motor.
