Default Sometimes my windshield fogs up...

sometimes my windshield fogs up we i turn on my car. i was wondering if this is normal.

I wouldn't worry about it if it doesn't smell like antifreeze. Just your breath adding humidity to the air when you first get in.

I know what you're talking about, mine does that, along with every other Camaro(3) I've had. Just turn on the defrost for a min. and it will clear up.

I get that too. I guess its normal. You can coat the inside of the windshield with RainX's anti-fog stuff (black container, not the yellow one) to prevent fog ingeneral.

if you leave the defrost on cold for a long time, it will start to fog the part of your window directly above the defroster and it will spread if you leave it on. if you use the hot setting for the defroster, you'll never have that problem, and your window will unfog faster than you can blink. it's a little uncomfortable on those warm, humid nights, but i've found the comfort is worth sacrificing for such an easy alternative.

Yes, happens pretty much everyday! I think it has something to do with the design of it. Just a guess though. It is rather annoying!
