5.3 budget build hp question How much crank horsepower? 5.3 80,000 miles,cnc ported 5.3 heads with 2.00 intake valves,ls6 valve springs with gm hot cam .525 lift,gm single plane intake port matched,holley ultra hp 750 carb,long tube 1 3/4"tube headers.The motor was free,had the intake,got the cam brand new for $300 with springs so ive invested a little bit on carb,heads were 800,and off course the headers.I was hoping for at least 400 hp.

+1 on being close to 400hp, although depending on your application we can spec you a camshaft that would probably work better and pick up a little more for your application. Give us a call if you have any questions.
