If its an auto a stall should be the absolute first thing you should spend any large amount of money on.
I gotta second this, if you get the right stall, not bad to daily at all. Got a vig 3600 and love it, mighta lost 1mpg and I hardly notice it if driven right.

You can try a cat back exhaust too. I noticed a difference when i did my SLP lid and K&n filter, but when i added my SLP LM2 catback on my `02 WS6, its debatable but i think the sound is great for a DD, its kinda loud, but not too much. Im about to install LTs on my car and well...that might throw all that out the window lol

The LT will make all the difference with a lid and a cat back system. Suspension mods are great for daily drivers because when the time comes when it isn't a daily driver you can be a little more prepared for the power adders.

i've seen where stock mufflers are pretty restricted. is there a muffler i could put on that would help and not be too loud and run better with the stock cats?

my 2 cents i like the magna flow or the hooker catback's.my coussin has the magna flow it sounds really good with headers and a off road y-pipe,not to loud but still good.the hooker is what i have,i bought it for the price.it sounded a little louder than stock with manifolds and cats but with headers and off road y under medium acceleration it's a little annoying, cruising it's quite and wide open it's killer.if i had it to do over, the magna flow for sure.

I second the tb bump stop mod if you haven't done it yet. Without it you won't get a true wot. Also take the screen out of the maf. Those 2 free mods will help. Then get the air box lid. I like my slp lid.

I did the free mods minus the bump stop mod. That's next on the list. Then a lid. I put lca's on and sfc's.

No way. Factory synthetic stuff with the correct additive is more than enough.

Yes way when it comes to royal purple. It is a superior oil, just like Amzoil. Running synthetic in the motor, trans, and rear diff will free up some hp due to less friction.

Is the 98 pcm ok to tune on? Just noticed that Texas speed says 99+.

Wouldn't a actual tune be better? How much is frost . I have a local tuner

I sent my 98 PCM to frost when I needed my tune and it cost like $165 after shipping. With having basic mods on your car you don't NEED a tune but it will improve performance big time especially since you have an auto.

Yes going to a tuner will be better but it'll cost more and from what Iv read, frost tunes are usually spot on.

My tuner is 250.100-150 retunes. Street tune. So a tune really helps on the auto? Might have to once I do gears
