Question Having trouble making a decision...

I own a 99' Firehawk, just purchased it last December. I love the car, its the # 010 car built in 1999. Completely stock, all paper documented down to every oil change. there are so many mods I would like to do to the car, but I have been holding off because of how nice the car has been taken care of. part of me wants to keep all original, but then the other part of me wants to go all out and make it the high performance f-body it can be. just wanted some opinions from everyone. thanks.

My personal opinion is mod all you want, BUT I wouldn't change anything that makes it a "Firehawk".
Example, Hood, rims, decal's, etc.....
I wouldn't do any cutting to the car either. I would replace stuff like headers, cam, heads,TB, basically anything that says GM and not Firehawk.
Also I would keep all of the stock parts, just in case you want tp put everything back to stock.

I agree...My cousin bought a 02 NBM Firehawk and didn't really want to mod it because it looked impecable...although he did start....He is definately not changing anything that gives it the distinct Firehawk look..Decals..rims and hood....He also has that Decklid with the LED brake light that lights up across the back of the decklid!!....His car is now modded...and looks stock...He runs Mid 12 and his car looks like it just came off the showroom floor.....!!!

definitly MOD IT!
-start off with the easy mods...TB, LID, HEADERS, CAT_BACK...
-then maybe some suspencion...LCA, PHB, SWAYBARS, etc...
-then maybe a nice H/C set-up...

then go out and show everyone why we love the LS1.....and kick some ***!

Mod it just save all your original parts, but dont change the fire hawk stuff. (except maybe the crappy bilstiens and get some real ones) Thats what Im doing with mine, I have a big box off all the oem parts.
