Default Going to the track untuned?

I recently installed Stage 2 heads and a TR230 cam.. I'm not getting a tune for about 2 weeks. But in the meantime, I'd like to see how my times will improve.

Is it ok on the car to go to the track untuned? The cam was used with 6k or so on it. The heads have Comp Cam 987 Dual Springs that have been heat cycled quite a few times already. I've done 2 oil changes also.

Just need to know if this will be fine.

Thanks

You certainly won't get optimal times, but you won't hurt anything as long as it's all broken in.
