Default Got my new ride!

Picked up my new ride on saturday morning, I'm VERy happy with it, it was hard going over from mopar, but they dont offer anything that I want besides a viper (which I cant afford...).

Car is a 2001 z28 badged up to an ss (getting debadged soon) with 4" cowl hood, and SS decklid, zr-1 17x9.5 17x11 rims, GTP stage 2 heads, mti c1 cam, mac coated headers, dynomax 3" exhuast, ported stock tb, mti lid, 3.73 gears in stock 10 bolt, B&M ripper shifter, comes with ls1 edit/autotap (which are unused except to remove the skip shift, change the gear ratio, and remove EGR). dynoed before ls1 edit at 402 rwhp, 355 rwtq. needs a tune pretty bad, I would do it myself, but I know NOTHING about ls1 edit. best time to date is 11.68@119mph on drag radials.

heres a few pics of the car...

all 3 of my slow rides

How do you know it's not a SS? If it has RPO WU8 on the door codes, then it is a SS. If you are looking at your title or insurance card, it will say Z28 even if it is a SS. Just something to think about...

If they guy admitted to it, then ok. I wasn't sure if maybe you got it from a dealer or something who didn't know.

Bitchin ride, dude. Not that I know how to use LS1 EDIT, but from what I hear it's the heat, look in the Diagnostics section and ask questions. Don't see that hood too often around these parts, I dig it. Was stationed at Hurby for about 4 months for Tech School, what do you do? Have fun with the new ride.
