Default Torque Converter Questions

Any suggestions for a torque converter thats durable, streetable and wont screw with my tranny? Also, what are your opinions of external tranny coolers?

Check out the Auto transmission section. They have some threads going that will more then likely answer your questions.

Yank's SS series, PI's Vig series, and TCI's SS series; in about a 3500 stall range. I don't think you could go wrong with any of these. They're in order of most expensive.

A external cooler is a must, period. Plus you're gonna spend $500-$1000 on a good converter and NOT spend the extra $55 to protect it? Check out the B&M 24000, it's pretty compact.

And you MUST have a tranny cooler. If you don't then kiss your tranny good bye in about a month or two.
