Can I use grade 8 bolt for flywheel bolts

I would say no. The flywheel bolts need a final torquing of 74ft-lbs and are M11 (7/16). Grade 8 bolts of that size should only be torqued to 60ft-lbs.

Agreed! I wouldnt skimp on flywheel bolts! Ever see a flywheel enter the drivers cockpit? Flywheel (@ several thousand RPMs) > Flesh and bone
