Default 99 6 Speed

I picked up a BONE STOCK 99 Mystic Teal Z28 with a M6.
153K meticulously maintained.
I'm wanting to build a high 10 second street car and stay as a DD.
I understand how to build a fast BBC car, but I am very new to the LS1 thing.
What are some suggestions from you guys to get me into the 10s?
Thanks alot

Yes Heads/cam, long tubes, fast 102, and a moser 9'' with some sticky tires... that should be high 10's...

Well if you can swing it some nice aftermarket heads will net you the most power, But you can get your heads CNC'd by a vendor here... AI, WCCH, etc.. they are all here on the far right of the screen >>>>>>>>>>>>>>

It just depends on your budget, do you have one? or are you talking more in general?

Good clutch to go with it. Check out the Monster clutch website and maybe call them with your goals to see whether you want to go with a single or twin disk clutch.

Monsterclutches.com

And Eric from Midwestchassis can get you set up for a good 9" rear end and PST driveshaft. Not sure what condition your tranny is in, but when/if it comes time to get it built to handle your set up Tick Performance can do a nice build up for you on your T-56. That stuff and some big sticky tires and you'll be really well set.
