Default 160 Thermostat

I Am Installing A 160 Thermostat In My 99 Firehawk. Will I Encounter Any Problem Such As Computer Settings????

I think you will need to tell the computer to kick in the fans earlier. That can be done with pretty much any tuning device I beleive

That's right, you'll need something like the Hypertech programmer to calibrate the new thermostat into your car's computer and to use it effectively. If you want to go ahead and install the 160 degree thermostat anyway, it won't hurt. By the way, the thermostat doesn't make a noticeable difference, but the programming does. I put a 160 in also, and if you're like me, its nice to have it in anyway. The gage will read almost the same temp, it seems to stick around 210 anyway.
