Default LS1 intake bolt question

doing the ls6 intake and pcv conversion and when i took our intake bolts out they had some black carbon on the threads and the passenger side front was a little worse then the rest. do I use sealer on the bolts when i put them back in, they had no oil up high on them just at the thread area.

I am no expert but I just reinstalled my intake a couple weeks ago. I did not put anything on the bolts. Make sure to use the correct torquing sequence and you should be fine. Final torque is 89 inch pounds. Like I said, I am no expert. Maybe try posting something in another section on this forum and you will get more info.

I have always installed them dry. Clean your bolts and blow out the threaded holes in the heads and torque to spec.

Same here, just make sure the hole and threads are clean and you should be good to go.
