You cant believe nobody knows that? Why? You didnt even specify if its auto or manual. Its a $65,000 Camaro thats not even a year old yet - most people on these boards haven't even been in one of these things let alone record shift RPM.

Just did a quick Google search, guess what the first link was.....this one. GM posted the gear ratios on their site but that's the closest I found. Try finding a C&D or R&T mag and they may have it listed.

Okay – I apologize for posting in the wrong section. However the question still stands and you are intelligent enough to know what the meaning of the question is was. Just to clarify I have a six speed which most of us do have. The car is not so new that people haven't taken their car out and at least taken it to redline in first and second gear. You have pictures all over YouTube of people taking their brand-new ZL one and doing donuts. So please don't come at me with this arrogant snooty attitude . I am a newbie so give me a break

Closest I can find so far, the ZL1 uses a Tremec TR-6060 transmission

Manual Transmission

A true harmony of smooth and raw feel, ZL1 features the latest TREMEC 6-speed manual transmission with a short-throw shifter.

Has some gear ratios for that trans on here but don't see the ZL1, maybe they are the same as the SS?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tremec_...0_transmission

2010 Chevrolet Camaro SS 1st 3.01 2nd 2.07 3rd 1.43 4th 1.00 5th 0.84 6th 0.57 reverse 3.28

EDIT: ZL1 2.66 1.78 1.30 1.00 0.80 0.63 2.90

Enter those numbers in the gear calculator http://www.f-body.org/gears/ and then you should be able to see, car comes with 3.73 gears

These are the numbers that I get for the manual with 3.73 gears and using the 305/35/20 wheel size:

Top speed in gear

1st gear : 51mph
2nd gear: 76mph
3rd gear: 105mph
4th gear: 136mph
5th gear: 170mph
6th gear: 216mph

Hope that answers your question
