I have read all kinds of swap threads, and turbo this and that. But I am just trying to get the bare basic list of what's needed and involved in a 5.3 swap into my Camaro. the reason is the ls1 is on its way out and don't have the money for a low mileage 6.0. I understand I need to swap intake, the accessories because the tb wont fit with the truck water pump, and oil pan and pick up tube. I don't plan on pulling the heads or valve covers or anything like that. so what gaskets need to be replaced and what bolts can and cant be used. also how needed is a tune? would it be cool to drive it say an hr to get tuned or would it be better to just trailer it? thanks for the help and any links would be awesome thanks guys.
