Default radiator to throttle body hose replacement

Anyone have the GM part number or aftermarket numbers for it? I know I could bypass, but I live in Michigan and drive year round. The hose seems to be tapered, a larger opening at the radiator end, smaller on the throttle body end.

Currently have a franken-hose on it now, 2 pieces of hose, plastic adapter, and 4 worm clamps. Looks like **** and I don't trust it to hold.

Thanks.

I recommend to bypass it...

If not.. Just go to the parts store and get some hose and 2 clamps. Very easily fixed, it will hold just fine.

While I understand your concern about driving year-round in a relatively cold climate, I would put money on you never having to worry about it affecting your throttle body at start up. While I am another vote to bypass it, you'll still run into the issue of two different sized hose ends. What I've always done is buy the larger size end and then just cranking down with a worm-drive hose clamp at the throttle body (smaller barb). There isn't much coolant that runs through there, and it's certainly not enough pressure to cause an issue.

I would bypass it. its only there to de ice the throttle body which would proably never happen unless you live in an are like siberia. consistent -30 to -50 degree temperatures.
