Default Fastest Car??

i was walkin into the school the other day when i stopped and had the realization that there isnt a single car in any of the parking lots that i couldnt blow off the road (i know because ive been eyeballing all the ones i thought were fast since freshman year). the guy whos dad owns a dodge place (i think) got a single cab hemi truck right when they came out that i thought was super mean but i now have a different view of what is "fast". after learning how to properly wrangle the ls1/t56 ill have to admit that its totally different than anything else ive driven. i havent gotten a piece of a gt stang yet but im not too worried. saftey is what im worried about mostly , i am fully aware of what can happen in automobiles because ive rushed to the hospital too many times to see too many of my friends in pain. i dont worry much about having a quick ride now, i guess it has made me more mature or somthing but its for the best i'm sure. sry bout the long write up ive been thinking about it lately. i guess i finally understand that true power is having power and not using it.

I instantly loved my LS1 the first minute I drove it back in 98. I had to buy it right then.

Yeah buddy! It's an awesome feeling to size up all the cars and know what's up. Laters.

Default Fastest Car

I know how you feel, In high school I had a 67 camaro and nothing could touch it in the county(school wise)!!!! I still have my 67 with 932hp today. But the car I drive every day is a 2002 Z28 and you cant touch it on the street! they are the badest thing on the road. (IMO)

There's only about a hundred people where I work, but I still take a little bit of quiet satisfaction in the fact that I'm the one with the fastest/quickest car in the company.

Granted, several folks here making 3x my salary could put me in my place pretty easily with a trip to a Porsche/Mercedes dealer, so I don't rub it in!

When I was in school the next fastest car behind mine was an 87 IROC with the 305 TPI. Car was such a dog, slow as molasses.

just remember theres always some one faster.... unfortunely its usualy a cop
yeah pickes were pritty slim at my school the fastest car at my school was a stock zr1 vette... well my 86 firbird that i had at the time, with a built 350 i put in it made quick work of him
yor ride man have some fun but if you want to have some faster fun the headers, fastoys ram air, and lid are well worth the $ it feels like a whole new car.

i used to walk through my HS parking lot on the way to my car looking at all the rice, all the "fast" catbacked 350 SBC cars (montes, 3rd gens, malibus), and all the mustangs and i used to go... "got that covered" "got that covered" "got that covered"....etc...

since there were 12 or 13 mikes in my senior class, i became "mike with the crazy fast camaro" (ok its not crazy fast but to all the people that challenged me out on the main road next to the parking lot, it was...)

it was stupid to race all those cars in that situation but thankfully i survived, i was never beaten and a few big talkers learned to shut their mouths in front of the entire senior class....

gotta love the LS1...

a guy at my school used to have an auto WS-6 t/a but im not sure how old it was. he got rid of it early this school year. i think i have the only camaro/mustang with a v8. makes me sick to know that some people dont understand the difference that those dual exhaust pipes and that Z28 badge have over all those girls who drive the camaros without them. my girlfriend always says "look that car is just like yours!" when its actually a pre-98 v6 and im like ARRRRRRRRRR. or maby its a z28 but an lt1. im like look honey mine has an ls1 and she says somthing like "ls1...lt1...doesnt sound like much difference to me..." and she cant understand my passion for not liking junk-stangs and having the need to give 'em a little throttle when i see 'em. i love that girl lol
