Default should i have one???

i have a question for ya'll...on my 2000 z28 next to the part coming off the throttle body is an open space where there should be another throttle body cable...should i have one?...i have asr and cruise control, i don't know if that matters or not, but i have seen other camaros and firebirds that have them, and i don't know if i should...i have never had a problem with the car, in fact i just ran it at the track last week and ran a 12.99 @ 108...let me know...thanks

do you have traction control? if so, the throttle cable runs over to the TCS module on the passenger fenderwell. Cruise etc comes there. If it didn't have traction control the cruise line would be next to the actual throttle cable.
