However if you just straight up dont like the pro 5.0, the MGW is considered a better shifter and has an adjustable stick so u can make it any height u want.
I just switched from the short stock 5.0 to the MGW myself.
As far as your crazy noises... when are you experiancing said noise? There shouldnt really be any noise if you installed it correctly.

The pro 5.0 is already a short throw shifter. If all you are complaining about is that the stick is too tall... all you need to get is this:

Yeah im thinking about going to MGW, even though it is somewhat expensive, its also high quality. & When im shifting, it almost sounds like a bearing spinning i guess. But it may be because the rubber boot was cut some, so the noise isnt being canceled out.

A short throw shifter eliminates the rubber bushing in the shifter shaft. That is part of what makes it a more positive feeling shifter. W/o the bushing the shaft acts like a microphone funneling gear whine from the tranny into the car. That is to be expected and perfectly fine, nothing wrong with anything. If you want to delete that sound then you need to buy my factory Hurst shifter.
To answer your original question, MGW all the way. I installed one in my Z and love it. Very high quality piece. Keep in mind I haven't tried other brands, but I love the MGW.

I have an mgw and I like it. Nothing to compare to except stock tho. Is there multiple sticks for mgw? Or did I install it when I was too tired to notice I could shorten the stick?

I've got a mgw and removed the 5.0 . I yanked the shaft out of the 5.0 once and I think the bolts were stripped. that made a interesting ride home. lol. but if you want the best quality even tho its a bit pricey go with mgw. you can't be more satisfied after you get used to how "short" the shifts really are. lol.
