Default My $1800 project

00' Formula with a 6 speed and 134k miles.
Drivetrain is strong has has other somewhat major issues.
Previous owner bounced it off a jersey barrier at 40. Bent the tie rod but alignment came out fine and strut/tower are fine.
Replacing the front damage should be pretty straightforward but the passenger rear is gonna be a bitch.
The car has sat in storage for 2 years.
Paint is 8/10
Interior is also about 8/10
Somebody put an aftermarket alarm system in at some point so now all the lights blink and don't stop.
I'm going to take it to an electrical place to unf#$% the alarm issue.
I figure at $1,800 I can't lose.

the car looks like a pretty easy fix on both ends.

Keep the formula nose and add a nice raptor/firehawk hood. Perfect time to do so!

New wheels and exhaust tips and the car will look really good.

I am thinking you need to take this project a different route. Yank the entire drive train out and sell the chassis. THEN drop the ls1 into something really small, like an old 240z.
