Mix and Matching Parts
Couple of questions, I'm beginning to get my parts in and start modding my car, but realized a couple things.
LID - replacing my stock lid w/ a MTI CF one, read in the post that I need K & N airfilter part 62-1030 for the A.I.R. hose, as it brings in air for the CATs and assists during warm/start up. If I have Off Road Pipes instead of CATs (ie the FLP header kit I'm getting soon), do I still need to get the 62-1030?
Headers and Tuning - Speaking of FLP Headers, is it easier to get the the kit installed, 02 sensors and all, or do I get HP Tuner and delete the 02 sensors either before or after Header install?

Not sure about FLP brand, but I would assume you'll need o2 extensions to make up for the lower pipes from the headers if they don't come w/ the headers. Try the o2 simms first before getting the tuning software if you want to save money. You may start running the car a little lean, you may not. If you do, then opt for the tuning software or have your pcm sent out. Hell, if you've got the money and know you'll be using the software in the future, buy it now and skip the o2 simms. Hope that helps.

Yeah, that's what I was wondering, since I'm gonna need a tune anyway, maybe just skip the 02s altogether, but that means having it tuned the same day AND place that I get the headers installed.
The AIR question has been answered a few ways, how do I remove it since I'm gonna be going with Off road pipes? Or is there a way to keep it around, with or without a filter, just in case shyiet happens and I may need to return to stock?
