Default nitto 555r speed rating questions

ok i looked at geting a set of 4 555r's but i looked at the speed rating and they are only v rated so i was wondering if ne one has had trouble cuz some times my foot gets stuck on the pedal at about 120 for a period of time and i was wondering if id have any problems driving that fast with them only being v rated

well... 1
you don't want 4 555Rs

555Rs are drag radials ... you don't need them in front... only in back

2. I've gone faster than that on radials... and no blow outs... but I wouldn't reccomend doing it on a regular basis...

To my understanding, it's more of a "constant" speed rating. I've taken mine well over 120 with no problems. Just so long as you aren't there for TOO long you're fine. I mean if you make a quick trip to 150 and back down you'll be okay, but if you decide to cross country at 150 for an extended period of time, you might have trouble

someone correct me if I am wrong, but I "think" that the speed rating is also for 1 minute plus constant or something like that, so if you are 1/4 mile at 110-130 you are good to go as well

I have a set of 305 45/18's on a 70 Chevelle,had it up to 140-no problems.

I have them all the way around, and they work flawlessly. They have even helped my braking improve. The only bad part about them is they only last about a year
