Question 98 LS1 z28 (do I need a new Torque converter?)

my Camaro slips and only when you red line it grabs. Recently got the new catalytic converters put on and when it came home it was fine until the next day. Got on the freeway and it wouldn't do I need a new torque converter? please someone help

Sounds like slipping clutch's in the trans not a converter issue.

You could still get a new converter. It would really wake your car up

Not with bad clutch packs in the trans it won't
