I got my BBK long tubes and ORY combo for $360, shipped. Hard to beat the price and the quality is pretty good. I've put a lot of miles on them and they still look brand new despite the fact they aren't coated/stainless.

Where did yet get that combo at that price?

LMPerformance. Sucks, though. I just looked it up on their site and they raised the price to $450 since the last time I looked (6-12 months ago). With the 5% off coupon code they're now offering the total comes out to $427, free shipping. Still a nice deal compared to other header/ory combos....just not as nice as that original $360 deal they had.

That's still damn good lol! So you are happy with them? Was the fitment decent? My buddy just bought a bone stock 02 WS6, and wants to do a full long tube/ORY/catback exhaust, but doesn't want to spent an arm and a leg

I believe I paid 390 shipped from ws6store for mine (chrome with ypipe). Pretty easy to install and haven't had any issues with them in the past two years of daily driving.

Iirc the Texas speed ones were on back order at the time and I had a time crunch... I don't regret it at all to be honest... I'm sure the 1 7/8 would have given me a little more peak power but it's really hard to be upset given what I paid for the BBK stuff.

I got my BBK headers/y pipe from a sponsor a couple of years ago for around $330 shipped. They still look to be in good shape besides the discoloring which is normal.

Fitment was/is excellent. I didn't have to alter anything on the car to put them in (2001 z/28). The only installation pain I had was my own fault; used small Rhino Ramps as oppose to stands so I had some issues trying to get enough clearance under the car to slide the passenger header in.

Again, they're great, especially for the price. I daily drive my car and put a lot of miles on it. Haven't had a single issue with the headers. BBK was kind of late to the header game but if you read up on customer reviews you'll see that pretty much everyone who has them loves them.

I went with a small budget; I think after all was said and done I spent somewhere around $650 for full exhaust (BBK LT/ORY combo and TSP Rumbler catback). Very happy, very loud, I personally love the tone. Exhaust is exhaust, I can't really see the justification for spending twice as much on something like Kooks when then end result is the same except for the quality of sound *shrug* Just my .02

Also forgot to add that the BBK headers use a ball joint flange to connect to the ORY. I know some people are against the ball joint flanges but I happened to like them as it made it possible to tweak the angles of the exhaust components before tightening everything down. In other words, instead of having to get special bump-stops and whatnot to fix issues where the exhaust hits the underside of the car, you can simply loosen the ball joints and adjust the exhaust to where you get the needed clearance between the pipes and the car.
