So I have a 5.3 gen 3 short block and a gen 4 bare block. I am wanting to swap internals from gen3 to the gen 4 block because the gen 4 is into a lot better condition. Is this possible and if so what parts will I need to do this. Thanks for all info

They'll swap over no problem, but I would check clearances.

The Gen IV block won't have provisions for the rear cam sync and the knock sensors will be relocated to the sides of the block as well.

I think you can leave whatever you have in there, but I am not 100% sure.
