What can you afford?

How much time do you have on your hands?

The possibilities are endless!!! Lol

I would enjoy my car for a bit and research and read all the different build threads and start saving some cash..

But you can always start with "bolt ons", headers, exhaust, air lid, ram air setup, good sticky tires!!

Take your 3k and hang onto it for 6 months. READ every night. Look at different combos, watch youtube videos. You didn't state if your car was auto or m6 either. That would mean stall or clutch would come first. Don't blindly spend your money on what other people like. Take time and do what you want.

Couldn't have said it better myself!! Hold onto your cash an research research research. Watch a thousand YouTube videos and read all the forums. Most importantly spend YOUR money on something YOU want! Don't let other people tell you what to do to your car... That takes all the fun out of it being yours!

I kept a diary sitting beside the monitor as I scanned and read through LS1 tech. Ask people, send out PM's because a lot of the time if you have had a bad experience you don't want to bring it up and have to defend yourself. But no matter what anyone says the moment you start changing things, mileage and drivability leave the garage. If this is you DD keep this in mind.
