2000 Camaro SS (just purchased)
wass up everyone,
Jeez I can finally say I have moved on from lt1's. Well, I just bought a 2000 Camaro SS with 97K bone stock a bit ago from an older man, the car has sat for about 6 months owner said he would occasionally start it here and there. I can see it needs a good tune up what parts should I change and which parts should I upgrade to high performance?
What is best website to order tune up parts from?

+2 for rock auto, they have lower prices and shipping is quick.
As far as tune up parts just go with the usual. Plugs, wires, change the oil, and replace the O2 sensors (the two closest to the manifolds)

Kudos on finding a bone stock 2000 SS! They're becoming awfully difficult to find!
As for tune up items at those miles: plugs, wires, fresh oil change and fluid check.
As for performance upgrades, what are you trying to accomplish (street car, track car or mixed use)? Auto or Manual? Generally speaking, an upgraded airbox lid and exhaust (catback and long-tube headers) is a great place to start.

For sure get you a set of LT's. If the cars automatic one of the best upgrades you can do is get a new stall converter. 3-3200 stall is what I prefer. After this you can start moving into cams etc. but I'd definitely go ahead and get some long tubes and a exhaust.

I ran into this spark plugs & wires combo, what you guys think? http://www.ws6project.com/user_stor/...s-wires-combo/
I did a little research on spark plugs and found out that a lot of guys are running NGK TR55 spark plugs which i see as a good sign. should I purchase?

My 2000 Z28 didn't like the NKG's (though I had TR5's, smaller gap than TR55. That might have been my issue) and I had a miss in the upper RPMs with them.
I'm using Autolite platinum now, and my car loves them, it seems.
Also, when changing your plugs, do yourself a favor and remove the coil mount/bracket on the passenger side. It'll give you enough room to get your hand and tool in there to get that back plug.
For performance upgrades, lid, LT's, ORY, and a cat-back.
