What is a double intake? Are you auto or 6 speed?

He probably means a dual-snorkle or inlet intake in place of the box. If so, the answer to that is don't bother...get a new air box lid (SLP or similar) and be done with it. It's cheap and easy and is proven even on higher HP N/A setups.

Yea go with a lid. OP if you have a WS6 might as well make the hood scoops functional and get a jaam ram air system. Here's mine:

Even with just my SLP lid it definitely feels stronger at 40+. Get some good flowing heads and an intake and things will only get better.

Also dresses up your engine bay nicely

do you already have the pacesetters? if not id reccomend going with a set of stainless headers that wont rust over the years. Also get a skip shift eliminator, that shiz is annoying! I usually do an high milage maintenance whenever i buy a new car (plugs, wires, fuel filter since they rarely get changed, oil change, diff fluid, etc)

don't waste your $ on a skip shift eliminator because a tune can fix that as well

you need a Tick Performance adjustable master cylinder for your clutch to quit sticking. Its the best fix in my opinion

With that setup, is there any danger of "inhaling" enough water during a heavy rainstorm to possibly hydro-lock the motor ? I've read enough "horror stories" about that to be really concerned about it.
