I have a 99 2 door Tahoe that I am in the process of restoring. I recently purchased a LQ4 6.0L out of a H2 but before it gets transplanted in the Tahoe I am wanting to build it up and need some advice. I tore the motor down last weekend and besides a few worn out push rods the motor was actually in surprisingly good shape (no scarring on the cylinder walls or crank, and still had great compression). I have spoke with a few local engine builders but was wanting some more input on what yalls recommendations are for parts for the build. Below are some of the things I plan to do

• I plan to have a small bore done and new pistons
• New cam
• Springs
• Rockers
• Pushrods
• Valvejob
• Intake
• ARP head studs
• Beefier oil pump

Any recommendations or suggestions on specific parts for this application would be greatly appreciated. Its going in a 6,500 lb Tahoe and im not trying to build a drag motor. I just want a good reliable pump gas motor that makes 500+ Thanks
