Gen III to Gen iv (ls1 to ls3) top end
i have a complete ls6 top end and im looking at going with ls3 heads/intake etc with next build, how much of my ls6 upper is still use able? rocker arms? rocker arm pedastools? injectors? fuel rails? valley cover? valve covers?
i know i need a new TB with ls3 heads and ls3 intake manifold

Rocker arms? only half of them, you need offset intake ones
Pedestals? I believe so
Injectors and rails? not unless you get some spacers for the injectors
Valley cover? no it's different on the GenIV
Valve covers? yes
What is your current setup like and what will the next one be?

current set up is a stock 5.3 short block out of a 02 sierra, blower cam and 243 heads and ls6 intake, ls6 top end stuff lol
was thinking about doing a 408 stroker out of an lq9 and using stock ls3 heads and intake manifold and was wondering what i could save from my current set up to help save some cash
