Default Engine mounts, Headers, EGR, AIR 2000 z28

I just order some parts and I'm tearing my car down right now and I've ran into a few problems. The driver side header is being a pain(SLP getting kooks). Do I need to take the steering shaft apart if so then where? If possible step by step and maybe a few pictures. I heard engine mounts are a pain but all I have to do is jack the motor up by the oil pain with a piece of wood on the jack and I have to go to lowes and get a bolt that is 2 inches longer and once I draw up the k-member put the original bolts in and do it for both sides. EGR and AIR completely lost I know I have to plug up a hole on the intake and take out the air pump under the driver side headlight. I need as much help needed if possible I'm new to working on cars but I know a few things. Doing the simple things first then next year putting a heads/cam package next winter or spring.
