Default Need Help With Cam

I'm new to the car scene and I have a question about what cam I should go with. I have a 99 Trans Am with 117000 miles on it. It is an auto, it has ls6 intake, ported throttle body, 3:73 gears, pacesetter headers and y-pipe, with a magnaflow catback exhast, 3600 stall, and im going to get either 243 heads or prc 215 heads. Ill drive it a couple days a week and will take it to the track every once in a while. What would be the best cam for this setup?
Any help would be much appreciated.

Not completely related to your post, but porting your stock 241 heads will have better flow than stock 243 heads, resulting in more power gains. The only time 243s are better is if you are comparing them ported vs ported, and even then the gains of the ported 243s over the ported 241 heads are not too significant. Can't beat free.

If you also want to have long valvetrain life then I'd look at the Comp Cam #54-428-11 (228/230 112lsa+2, lift .571"/.573") and the Cam Motion Titan lV (227/232 113lsa+3, lift .612"/.595") or with less overlap and lift the 5.7 Stage 4 (228/232 114lsa+4, lift .550"/.540"), and between those two the LS2 Stage 3 (228/232 114lsa+4, lift .603"/.578")

All of these cam have fairly mild lobes, the Cam Motion lobes are slightly milder than the Comp Cam lobes in the above cam.
