Default 2000 T/A cat back

I'm looking into getting a cat back for my Trans Am. Looking for a good sounding exhaust that wont break the bank. I've heard some good things on the Dynomax Super Turbo cat back. The sound clips from LS1sounds sounds good to me. I have BBK long tubes, and ORY pipe. I dont want anything to crazy loud. Currently running headers with stock cat back. Sounds good but would like it a little louder. Any suggestions?

SLP Loudmouth II.

If it's too loud for you, you can swap just the muffler for a quieter Magnaflow or Borla.

Since you're only wanting it a little bit louder, and you already have LT headers w/ORY-pipe I think the SLP LM2 is going to be louder than you want, so I'd go with either the Dynomax 17327 or for about + $60 get the Magnaflow 15684.

just picked up the slp lm II catback and i am inlove, it is alot quiter than i thought it was going to be but it is perfect and i think will be just right with longtubes. you can actually be quiet if you want but has has a nice deep rumble and is a big improvement over stock, absolutley no rasp with stock manis and cats and the fitment is exellent. i would highly recomend this exhaust for $383. I also went with the 4 inch dual wall tips and they look badass.

IMO, it not the same at all once you take cats out of the exhaust, and louder still with LT headers. I do agree that the SLP LM2 is an excellent cat-back for the price and sounds good if you're still running cats, but I can see him needing to spend another $90-$130 soon after to quiet it down some more so that brings the price up into the $475-$515 range. It's still a good deal if he doesn't mind modifying a new exhaust first thing. The Borla 40084 or Magnaflow 12867 5" dia. muffler is what I'd recommend swapping in, if he goes with the LM2.

Love the LM1 w/ any mods. Buddy had a LM2 sounded great also...magnaflow seems to be a popular system.

I went with the 15684 magnaflow cat back. Found it on ebay for 412 shipped. I love it. Sounds awesome and you dont get the rasp like you hear on some other exhausts. It fits amazing and doesnt rub anything.
