Default 315's scraping on body. help!

I am a proud new owner of a 01 ss that has 315's on and is also lowered (pics coming soon). However I took it to houston this weekend and with two passengers every bump the frame would hit the side of the back right tire. Someone suggested to me getting a pan hard bar or something like that? I took it to a shop to get their opinion but they only worked on mustangs but told me that the tire was also scraping the inside of the frame. any suggestions?

Off the top of my head, a combination of things would help:

- Decrease passenger weight
- Increase rear spring rate
- Increase rear ride height
- Perform a thrust angle alignment to confirm the rear end is centered
- If not centered, buy an adjustable panhard bar and correct the alignment
- Roll the rear fender lips
- If you're running rear wheel spacers, see if you can get by using a thinner spacer
- Consider wheels with more backspacing
- Consider a narrower rear wheel & tire
- If the shocks are fairly old or of an inferior quality, consider replacing the shocks

Get an adjustable panhard bar and center the rear end.

If that doesn't work get out the BFH.

Don't forget new bump stops as I'm sure the stock ones have rotted by now.

And I second the "decrease passenger weight"

I had a similar issue however I didn't even need passengers to make contact driving over bumps. First I did the adjustable panhard it helped. Than I rolled the fenders didn't notice any difference which I found strange. So further inspection revealed completely rotten bump stops. Replaced them with the jeep poly bump stops and problem solved. I do make contact now (rarely) over large dips at highways speeds and with other people in the car.
