Default Fuse Block

I have a 1985 S10 pickup project vehicle. I want to get a '98-2005 donor vehicle like a van with a 6.0 or a Camaro/Firebird V8 and use the powertrain complete with harnesses and PCM. I already have it tubed out with a 8 3/4" with coil overs and ladder bars. What does anybody recommend I use for the fuse and relay block, the fuse block for the donor vehicle ( not much space under the hood) or modify the S10 fuse box by adding a sub fuse box to handle the extra wiring, or chuck everything and buy a aftermarket harness with PCM. I don't want to spend $1500. on a after kit if I don't have to. I am a retired Chev. tech with a good electrical background. What problems may I have to be aware if I use the donor harnesses and PCM. I know I would have to send out the PCM to disable anti-theft, EGR, rear O2 sensors, lower coolant fan temp. signal to come on earlier. Any feedback would be appreciated.
