Default storing a "donor motor"

Bought an '02 Trans Am donor car (58k miles) but won't be using the motor for at least a year. It is still in the car and still runs and drives.

How would you prep the motor for storage??

are you concerned with your battery dying or fuel contamination?

I'm going to pull the motor and trans and part the car out…….wondering what I need to do to prep the motor for storage (fog cylinders, etc)

Oil it up and wrap it is what my buddy did.
