dyno shows 315 rwhp
My car is at Speed Inc. right now getting headers/ory/Qtecs/TR 224/224 cam/spec stage III/ shifter/LS6 intake right now but they checked the hp #s on the car in its current state which is just Borla catback and MTI clearlid and they got 315 rwhp...is that low/normal/high for nearly stock ?

That seems to be real good for a 98. I had my 01 dynoed and it put down 323 at the rear wheel with a SLP lid and the SLP dual dual. It should run hard when you get it done. You will have to post the results once it's done.

I had my car at speed inc last year for the duals after i installed the headers (going back in three week for stall) and I got my numbers in sig..........319 rwhp and 337 rwtq and that was with a lid as well as headers and the dual exhaust......so you made within 4 rwhp of mine w/o the headers (although you being M6 helps with the drivetrain loss a little)

Those numbers are real good! Mine before the mods put down 319 RWHP with a lid & 3" y-pipe, with cutout through a 12 bolt & 4.11's.
You should put up some real nice numbers after the mods you said were getting installed. Too bad you can't get a LS6 intake installed, Fred

I havent been to the track yet. I just recently installed some qtp headers and catted y. I havent dynoed or tuned yet. I was supposed to go to the track for the first time tomorrow, but rain is cancelling that. I dont think I'll run that good on stock tires, and never going to the track before, i know my launches are going to suck.

I have a 98 WS6 M6 with 70,000 and with a MTI lid, catted Y, Pace Maf, and Hooker cat back I put down 315rwhp and 229rwtq. But the afr was 11.5:1 and the clutch was slipping. I took it to the track the other night and ran a 13.3@106.58. But that track is a couple of mph slow. It goes up hill. I think those are great numbers for your car. I am jealous.
