Default How many mods will it take?

Hi everybody,
I'm fixin to dump a bunch of money into Stage III Heads and Cam, Airlid, Long tube headers, Y-Pipe and Exaust in my 02 Trans Am WS6. Considering all these mods are installed, How much would it help me to add a girdle (if at all) And; how much more can I expect out of it if I also Install an LS6 Intake? Thanks for your input.

The 01' and 02' cars came with the LS6 intake from the factory so don't buy another one. Personally I wouldn't spend money on a girdle or anything else for a 10 bolt. Just save your money to buy a 12 bolt when the 10 breaks.

i bought my MAC girdle for $122 shipped.if your planning on keeping your 10 bolt its worthwhile to try to prolong its life.

Great! Thanks. I just saved $800.00. The shop tell me I will be breaking 400 rwhp and see up to maybe 460rwhp. Will this kill my stock transmission?

theres a chance it might....however...there are people that have there stock transmission with numbers a lil higher then that...many of them have stock rear ends...i've only heard of A4's tho that have restrictions...the T56 also known as the M6...ive seen people with near 500 rwhp or so

If you are running a a4, see the Colonel's recent post in the transmission section about how to prolong the life of a a4 very insiteful? If not, start looking about some better clutch parts. If you are dumping that much money into h/c setup, you should do it right. Too many people spend their money not so wisely on their engine and forget to upgrade the other important parts of the driveline and suspension. If you can't put the power to the ground, or your car is dead in the garage what is the point in having stage 3 heads, and a big cam...
